Russian Trademarks

Registration of a Russian trademark shall be valid for ten years from the filing date.

The trademark registration period may be extended at the request of its right owner, which should be filed during the last year of the expiring term, each time for the next ten years.

International Trademarks

• Russian Federation is a member of the Madrid Agreement Concerning the International Registration of Marks since July 1, 1976
• Russian Federation is a member of the Protocol Relating to the Madrid Agreement since June 10, 1997.
